How to separate essential oil and water?

I faced a problem of separating essential oil and water after extraction it from the plant.


I search for literature review but they did not describe much as well.the volume of essential oil i obtained from plant leaves is very little compared to the water, therefore i cannot do further analysis.How to separate essential oil and water?
By using separating funnel you can separate the essential oil and water and also using the distillation process you can separate . Even it is in very little amount take suitable solvent for oil and separate .


Liquid chromatography techniques are better to try....
