How to separate essential oil and water?

I faced a problem of separating essential oil and water after extraction it from the plant.


I search for literature review but they did not describe much as well.the volume of essential oil i obtained from plant leaves is very little compared to the water, therefore i cannot do further analysis.How to separate essential oil and water?
as we all know oil floats on water,now take them in a separating funnel and leave them undisturbed for some time . and then open the tap of the funnel and collect the water ,be careful see that u don't collect the oil. and then finished your essential oil is in the seperating funnel
