How do I mak my own Allspice essential oil? I have raw allspice. I don't have or want a distiller. Any tips would be great. How to make allspice essential oil?
There are different way to make essential oils.

For the water fraction there is:

Three types of distillation are used:

1. Water

2. Water and steam

3. Direct steam

4. Hydrodistillation

Then there is:

5. Cold Pressing or Expression:

6. Enfleurage:

7. Solvent Extraction

8. CO2 extraction

9. Florasols/Phytols

Firstly determine what you want the essential oil for. If it is for candles or oil burners then the water fraction/method might suffice. If it was for medicinal purposes then you might need a combination of water extraction and solvent extraction to capture all potential active constituents.

Solvent extraction more info:

You would need to crush the berries first.

Looking at this research paper methodology I think solvent extraction could be pretty complicated, requiring a lab:

If you just want the essential oil for candles/oil burning perhaps steam distillation might suffice.
